Together with Stadtwerke Würzburg AG, we have reached another milestone in our cloud strategy: following the successful go-live of the SOPTIM Elements ELEMENT:APERAK Generator at the end of June 2025, APP:PortfolioHub has now also been launched. Both solutions run on SOPTIM Elements – our cloud platform that makes energy market processes simple, flexible and quick to use.

With APP:PortfolioHub, we are creating a central technical transfer point for Stadtwerke Würzburg AG. From here, the energy sales department receives a daily updated overview of forecast volumes, order volumes, prices and current data – prepared specifically for each sales portfolio and transmitted directly to energy procurement. In doing so, we have replaced the previous interface and paved the way for sales portfolio management in the cloud.

The rapid implementation was a particular success: it took just two weeks from the availability of the software components to the system going live. This was made possible by the close collaboration between the specialist departments at Stadtwerke Würzburg and our SOPTIM consultancy team.

The successful deployment of APERAK Generator and PortfolioHub demonstrates how SOPTIM Elements lives up to its promise: ready for immediate use, efficiently implemented and future-proof in operation. For us, this project is a prime example of our ability to work with our customers to create cloud solutions that provide real value.
