Arrival by car via Autobahn A52 from Düsseldorf

Leave A52 atexit "Essen Bergerhausen" (exit no. 30). At the traffic light turnleft onto "Ruhrallee". After approximately 100 meters (at the"Ruhrgas" building) turn right into "Huttropstraße". At the second crossing with a traffic light(after app. 600 meters) turn left into "Steeler Straße"."Dietrich-Oppenberg-Haus" is on the right side about 1.5km down theroad. To access underground parking drive past the building and turn right into"Söllingstraße".

Arrival by bus from Essn train station

Use the sidetunnel located next to the elevator accessing platforms 4 to 6 to exit the maintunnel and enter the street tunnel. At bus gates 1 to 3 take on of thefollowing lines to station "Hollestraße": line 145 (to"Haarzopf"), line 145 (to "Kray"), line 154 (to"Beisen"), line 155 (to "Rotthausen"), line 166 (to"Burgaltendorf"), line 196 (to "Hafenverwaltung"). Thejourney takes about 2 minutes.

 

• When arriving on line 146, from the bus stop walk back to crossing of "Steeler Straße" and "Hollestraße". "Dietrich-Oppenberg-Haus" is located on the other side of the crossing, diagonally opposite from where you are.

 

• Arriving on any other bus line walk in the direction the bus was driving to the crossing of "Hollestraße" and "Steeler Straße". "Dietrich-Oppenberg-Haus" is located on the other side of the crossing, diagonally opposite from where you are.
